Julia is a perpetual high performer— top of her class and having landed her “dream job” at Google. Long hours, long drive and too many cups of coffee later, Julia found herself experiencing burnout. She was shocked at the support resources her job provided and three months leave to help handle her condition. Why did she not know about burnout before and why weren’t there measures in place to help prevent it in the first place?
Julia took her life experience and has created a unique model combining critical productivity, mindfulness and leadership tools to sustain a healthier balance in their work lives.
Julia originally hails from Germany, has lived in 5 countries over the last 14 years and speaks three languages fluently. While Julia’s life on the go had seemed excellent, just like so many others do; it was taking a toll on other aspects of her life. She now understands the importance of focusing on maintaining a healthy mental state and remaining in control of our lives. She wants to share her story to help others learn what she wishes she had known at the beginning of her career. Julia has now been running her own consulting and coaching business, helping over 5K employees at innovative companies more understand the effects of stress on the body and the mind, move beyond burnout and build a mindful lifestyle that delivers focus, high energy and productivity.
